Youth Unlimited YFC Woodstock is a satellite ministry of Southwestern Ontario Youth For Christ.
Southwestern Ontario Youth For Christ is a chapter member of YFC – Canada. The national office exists to serve and guide 31 chapter ministries across the country. Each of the 31 chapters has an independent Board of Directors and has achieved their charitable registration through the Canada Revenue Agency.
Chapter ministries are commissioned to reach the youth of their area through nationally approved strategies which conform to the standards and philosophy of Youth for Christ International. The international office oversees ministries in over 100 countries impacting over 9 million young people around the world.
Southwestern Ontario YFC has grown dramatically, increasing its number of Satellite ministries since its inception. Originally the chapter was an amalgamation of 7 satellites. Presently 23 satellites are reaching youth in 30 communities across the region. Each satellite is guided by a local Steering Committee made up of volunteers representing a broad base of the Christian community.
Target Audience
Our primary target audience is youth ages 10 through 19.

Guiding Principles
These guiding principles are specific to the development of programs and services:
Youth Wholeness: We go to where youth are found. We seek to foster them in whole-person development – physical, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual. We seek to restore hope and encourage youth toward fully realizing their potential in the context of mentoring relationships and communities of care, and to advocate for their needs.
Staff Wholeness: We strive to facilitate team and individual development of staff and volunteers in spiritual formation, knowledge, skill, gifting, leadership, personal and family relationships.
Relevancy and Effectiveness: We strive to be strategic in our vision and entrepreneurial in our response, utilizing diversity in programming and doing ongoing evaluation so as to be relevant and effective in reaching a wide-range of youth.
Community Engagement: We seek to mobilize the Christian community and to partner with those who are like-minded in order to optimize a coordinated response to youth needs.
